Eye examinations
An eye examination is not merely to detect and correct vision defects.
It is also an important health check for your eyes. It can be used to detct eye conditions such as Glaucoma and Cataract. Also general health problems such as Hypertension and Diabetes. If these are caught early enough, they can be treated and controlled.
At Jarvis Optometrist, where possible we use the latest technology. For example, we use Digital Imaging equipment that records an image of the back of the eye. This has proved very useful in the early detection of conditions and for the accurate measurement of changes to the eyes over time.
